Salary: NJC Support staff Pay scale, Point 5 (£25,583) full time equivalent – to be pro-rated for part time term time only working.

About the Role

[Employer hidden] is recruiting for a EYFS/KS1/KS2 Teaching Assistant

Hours: 3 Days, 18.75 hours per week, term-time only – 08:30 to 15:15

Post: EYFS, KS1 or KS2 dependent on applicant skill set

Contract: Fixed term contract

Pay: NJC Support staff Pay scale, Point 5 (£25,583) full time equivalent – to be pro-rated for part time term time only working.

To start: Flexible, to suit the successful applicant.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team.

  • An ability to support learning for 1:1 children or groups in KS1 or KS2 ;

  • Organisational and time management skills;
  • The ability to manage and deal with challenging behaviour;
  • Patience and a good sense of humour;
  • A desire to learn and take on new challenges;
  • The ability to build good relationships with children, parents/carers and colleagues;
  • An understanding of child protection and safeguarding issues.
  • Forest School training, or a willingness and enthusiasm to undertake Forest School training
