Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant / practitioner to work in our Breakfast Club and Pre-School – first helping our pupils have the best start to their day followed by fun and learning in our self-contained, well resourced, Pre-School. Offering spaces for 36 children, both morning and afternoon the Pre-School is part of the school’s vibrant wider community and regularly extends learning into the main school.

The Vine is a larger than average primary school situated in Cambourne, ten miles west of Cambridge. Our Vision prayer highlights our school’s mission to create pupils and international citizens who make the world a better place.

Responsibilities

  • Working in Breakfast Club (7:45 am – 8:30 am)
  • Working in Pre-School (8:30 am – 12:00 pm)
  • Supporting pupils' learning and development
  • Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment

Requirements

  • Experience in childcare or early years education preferred
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Enthusiastic and patient attitude
