About the Role

Our Site Manager is a vital and valued member of our team, taking on a key role in ensuring our school operates safely, efficiently, and effectively. This position offers the successful candidate the opportunity to work closely with our small, dedicated operations team and contribute to creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all children, staff, and visitors. Commitment, reliability, and initiative are essential in making a meaningful impact on our school community, alongside the ability to lead on processes, policies, and best practice in collaboration with key stakeholders.

This important role includes overseeing the day‑to‑day management of the school site, ensuring that the premises are well‑maintained, secure, and compliant with statutory requirements. Responsibilities will include coordinating maintenance and repair work, managing health and safety procedures, liaising with external contractors and professionals, supporting staff with site-related needs, and ensuring that the school environment is safe, clean, and fully optimised for learning.

  • Can work collaboratively within our supportive and professional community where staff, parents, and pupils work closely together
  • Is dedicated, approachable, and solution‑focused

Visits and Safeguarding

Visits to the school are warmly encouraged. We would love you to see our school in action and share our vision for the future—and how you can contribute to it. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit. We welcome all questions, big or small.

Orchard Park Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
