Cover Teaching Assistant (TA) 1:1 Named Child

Location: Over, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Grade 2, STC 5-6
Hours: 6 hours a day, as and when cover is needed [8.45am-3.15pm, 30-minute lunch break, term-time only]
Contract Type: 1:1 Teaching Assistant post – will be linked to various children, depending on where cover is needed.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our wonderful team, working with children across the school when their supporting adult is absent from work.

The candidate will:
- Be experienced in working with children
- Be passionate about bringing out the best in everyone, including themselves
- Understand how to support children through a positive approach to behaviour and be passionate about supporting all pupils within an inclusive classroom.
- Be fully committed to going above and beyond to safeguard children
- Be able to motivate others and work as part of a team, with strong interpersonal skills
- Be an excellent communicator with a calm disposition and welcoming manner
- Be able to develop strong relationships with parents and the wider community
- Show a commitment to their professional development through recent qualifications or a desire to undertake further study
- Be able to stay calm under pressure, resilient in even the trickiest of situations
- Be flexible and able to work with short notice.
