FULL DESCRIPTION

Cover Teaching Assistant (TA) 1:1 Named Child

Location: Over, Cambridgeshire

Salary: Grade 2, STC 5-6

Hours: 6 hours a day, as and when cover is needed [8.45am-3.15pm, 30-minute lunch break, term-time only]

Contract Type: 1:1 Teaching Assistant post – will be linked to various children, depending on where cover is needed.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our wonderful team, working with children across the school when their supporting adult is absent from work.

  • Be an excellent communicator with a calm disposition and welcoming manner
  • Be able to develop strong relationships with parents and the wider community
  • Show a commitment to their professional development through recent qualifications or a desire to undertake further study
  • Be able to stay calm under pressure, resilient in even the trickiest of situations
  • Be flexible and able to work with short notice.
