Contract type: Permanent, 13 hours per week (with possible additional hours on Professional days), 38 weeks per year (term time only).

Working pattern: Monday – Friday 07:45 am – 08:45 am & Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 15:00 pm – 17:00 pm

Salary: National Living Wage

Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a play worker to join our out of school club based at [Employer hidden]. The role involves providing safe, creative, and appropriate play opportunities for children from foundation to Year 6.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide full care and supervision for children
  • Work alongside colleagues to plan, prepare, and organise an appropriate range of activities
  • Liaise with the school and parents/carers
  • Prepare refreshments
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as appropriate
