About the Role

Reporting to the Internal Audit Manager, you will play a key role within the audit team, delivering risk-based audits, value-add advisory work, and risk management reviews. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing and well-established Internal Audit team where you will also help drive wider innovation projects to support the team’s long-term strategy including enhanced data analytics and AI, all with a significant focus on continuing to build your personal and professional development. This position offers a great opportunity to support the business during a period of transformation, working closely with a range of functions through effective business partnering, with the potential to rotate into the wider [Employer hidden] Finance team in the future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, risk-based internal audits across the business and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure remediation plans are completed on a timely basis
  • Support advisory engagements and provide insights that add value
  • Conduct risk management reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation
  • Collaborate with team members to support business objectives during a period of change

About You

  • 2–3 years’ relevant experience in internal or external audit, or finance, within either a commercial environment or accountancy practice
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and a naturally analytical mindset
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Curious, proactive, and motivated to learn and develop
  • Part-qualified or fully qualified in a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA)

Work where it works

To ensure we balance moments where we know we need to collaborate together and the need for flexibility, [Employer hidden] has a hybrid way of working with a minimum 3 days a week in one of our Home Offices. Over and above this, each area of [Employer hidden] may have additional requirements which may require spending more days in the office, visiting suppliers, stores or depots.
