About the Role

We are looking for a Surface Technician to join our Production and Surface Technology team in Ghimbav. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and optimising paint coating processes, ensuring top-quality surface finishes across our production line. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking company using state-of-the-art coating and paint line technology in a modern manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, execute, and monitor coating processes in the paint line.
  • Operate and maintain coating systems for both waterborne and solvent-based paints.
  • Conduct failure analysis and lead process improvement projects to address application or paint defects.
  • Perform quality control inspections and maintain accurate documentation of surface quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional departments to optimise production processes and maintain quality standards.

Your Profile

  • Completed training in surface technology, process engineering, chemical engineering, or similar fields.
  • Experience operating coating systems and strong knowledge of common coating techniques and application tools.
  • High technical understanding, attention to detail, and a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Team player with strong communication skills and the ability to work in a dynamic production environment.
