About the Role
A senior commercial leadership opportunity to drive strategic sales excellence across an international organization within the industrial and materials sector. This role oversees multiple European sales offices, leading strategic growth, customer relationships, and the implementation of high-impact sales and business development strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop an international sales management team across European sales offices, fostering a high-performance, motivated, and collaborative culture.
- Define and implement strategic sales plans aligned with product and business unit goals.
- Own sales budget planning and forecasting, including short-term targets and long-term revenue objectives (AOP and 5-Year Plans).
- Drive customer acquisition and key account strategies, maintaining high-value partnerships and representing the company at trade fairs and industry events.
- Conduct in-depth market and competitive analyses to identify opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
- Ensure efficient internal coordination and communication between Sales Offices and all relevant departments (marketing, production, R&D, etc.).
- Oversee sales process optimization and CRM system utilization, identifying areas for digital and operational improvement.
- Lead the continuous development and standardization of sales processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Degree in Economics, Business, or a related field with a strong focus on sales or finance.
- Minimum 10 years of commercial experience, including at least 7 years in leadership roles within international matrix organizations.
- Proven track record of driving complex change initiatives and business transformation.
- Deep understanding of sales strategy, business development, and operational excellence across B2B industrial sectors.
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with strong organizational structure.
- Business fluency in English (additional European languages are an advantage).
- Experience abroad and strong intercultural communication skills.
