Job Description

[Employer hidden] is seeking a passionate and driven Supply Chain Stock Controller to join their Distribution Centre in Speke, Liverpool. This role involves supporting the Stock and Systems team by ensuring container stock aligns with business rules, collating data, and producing short-term forecasts. Key responsibilities include maintaining an order book, overseeing container intake, producing intake forecasts, analyzing supply chain data, organizing transhipments, and liaising with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain an order book, ensuring accurate and timely information is shared with teams across the business.
  • Oversee container intake, ensuring only required containers are booked in to the DC, in line with our rules and requirements
  • Produce and communicate intake forecasts for the coming weeks to support planning across the DC.
  • Collate and analyse supply chain data to support effective stock and capacity planning
  • Organise transhipments from Merchandisers to other DC’s
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure stock transfers are planned and executed effectively and safely.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.

What we’re looking for

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Confident communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
  • Proactive approach and willingness to learn.
  • Merchandising or Supply Chain experience is preferred, but not essential
  • An understanding of Excel, Nova, Power BI or SCP would be an advantage.
