Audition notice

[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] are seeking three extraordinary performers with cerebral palsy or similar motor related disabilities to join Dan on stage for their next touring production Exxy.

They will be holding auditions in three locations – Glasgow, London and Leeds.

About the project

Exxy is about imposter syndrome – the clash between artist Dan Daw’s ambition to take up space and create the disabled-led work missing from large stages, and the self-doubt that has been imposed on him as a working-class, queer disabled artist.

This new work was commissioned by New Dimensions, supporting UK artists to develop large scale projects.

New Dimensions is a collaboration between Transform (Leeds), Battersea Arts Centre (London), Take Me Somewhere (Glasgow), Tramway (Glasgow) and Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts (Brighton).
