FULL DESCRIPTION

BI Developer

We’re seeking a highly skilled BI Developer that’s looking to join a dynamic team in the Fintech sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of Power BI Development, SQL, Data Warehousing, Analysis Services, Data Modelling, ETL Processes and SSIS. The successful candidate will have an integral role in developing insightful visualisations and ensuring the effective administration of our Power BI environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing and designing end-to-end Power BI Solutions such as data acquisition, transformations, data modeling, creating dashboards, meeting business requirements and delivering actionale insights
  • Collaborating with corss-functional teams and understanding data requirements to translate them into effective data models and visualisations
  • Designing and building visually compelling and interactive reports and dashborads in Power BI
  • Working closely with analysis services team to create multi-dimensional models and tabular models for efficient data analysis
  • Performing data analysis to identidy trends, patterns and anomalies, prviding recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in computer Science or related fields
  • 4+ years’ experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role
  • Proficiency in Power BI, SQL, Data Warehousing concepts, analysis services, data modelling, Azure services, ETL processes and SSIS
  • Strong experience in creating visually appealing and interactive reports and dashboards
  • Strong understanding of data visaulisations best practices and user experience principles
  • Strong communicational skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Some understanding of scripting and programming
  • Good experience with Power Automate and Power Apps is beneficial
  • Certifications in Microsoft beneficial i.e. Data Analyst Associate and/or similar
