Main duties & Responsibilities:

  • Reading & understanding engineering drawings
  • Inspection of goods inwards against engineering drawings
  • Booking goods inwards & outwards
  • Putting away checked deliveries to the correct location
  • Selecting & sealing out components for kitting
  • Fully kitting jobs as per production requirements
  • Identifying & reporting any shortages
  • Effective use of ERP system for deliveries & kitting
  • Carrying out month & year end stock takes
  • Adhering to H & S procedures
  • General stores duties
  • Any other duties as reasonably required

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in a busy store
  • Excellent communication & organisational skills
  • Good IT skills – Microsoft excel & Sage

Desirable Criteria:

  • Pallet Truck/Forklift experience
  • Previous experience in an engineering background
