Job Description

[Employer hidden] is delighted to be working with a well-established and expanding print and communications company in Peterborough, who are looking to recruit a Data Processing & Production Specialist to join their team.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong IT skills and a keen eye for detail who enjoys working with data in a structured environment. Previous experience within the industry is not required – a proactive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are what matter most.

The Role

As a Data Processing & Production Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing and managing client data for a variety of print production outputs. You will also act as a key support point for colleagues, ensuring data is processed accurately, efficiently, and securely at all times.

Key Duties

  • Preparing and processing client data for multiple print output formats
  • Logging incoming data and organising it for production workflows
  • Identifying and resolving data-related issues
  • Escalating technical or processing concerns to the Head of Print Output
  • Providing first-line technical support to team members when required
  • Producing and sharing processing schedules and reports as needed
  • Ensuring all work complies with Health & Safety standards
  • Completing all required training and development activities
  • Following Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) procedures
  • Supporting the wider team with additional tasks where necessary

  • Confident user of PCs and IT systems
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills, particularly with data
  • Basic technical troubleshooting ability
  • Well organised with good time management skills
  • Positive, team-oriented approach
  • Eager to learn and develop new skills
