Job Description

[Employer hidden] is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join a growing organisation based in the Stansted area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for data, supply chain operations, and continuous improvement to make a real impact within a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse shipment data to ensure timely deliveries and identify improvement opportunities
  • Monitor and optimise order planning to meet customer demand and reduce delays
  • Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring stock aligns with operational needs and budget targets
  • Review logistics costs and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure
  • Maintain accurate data across logistics systems, including shipments, stock, and orders
  • Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, sales, and warehouse operations
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and cost efficiency
  • Identify and implement process improvements across logistics and supply chain activities
  • Support forecasting and demand planning to align stock levels with business needs
  • Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance and costs to management

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of IT systems
  • Experience with SAP is essential
  • Strong understanding of inventory management and forecasting
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
