Job Description
[Employer hidden] is currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Logistics Analyst to join a growing organisation based in the Stansted area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for data, supply chain operations, and continuous improvement to make a real impact within a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse shipment data to ensure timely deliveries and identify improvement opportunities
- Monitor and optimise order planning to meet customer demand and reduce delays
- Manage and track inventory levels, ensuring stock aligns with operational needs and budget targets
- Review logistics costs and recommend strategies to improve efficiency and reduce expenditure
- Maintain accurate data across logistics systems, including shipments, stock, and orders
- Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, sales, and warehouse operations
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery and cost efficiency
- Identify and implement process improvements across logistics and supply chain activities
- Support forecasting and demand planning to align stock levels with business needs
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance and costs to management
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills
- Advanced Excel skills and good knowledge of IT systems
- Experience with SAP is essential
- Strong understanding of inventory management and forecasting
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
