Job Description

You will play a vital role in ensuring machinery, equipment, and site facilities are maintained to a safe, reliable, and compliant standard, supporting smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on machinery and site facilities
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
  • Undertake general building maintenance (plumbing and electrical experience desirable)
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and technical standards
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report issues clearly
  • Work closely with operational teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
  • Support site projects, installations, and continuous improvement initiatives

About You

  • Practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance
  • *(experience within food production, packhouse, or similar environments is advantageous)*
  • Good understanding of health & safety requirements and safe working practices
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Flexible, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards
