Job Description

AI and high-performance computing are driving unprecedented demand for advanced thermal and liquid cooling technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity for a degree-qualified engineer with strong thermodynamics knowledge who wants to build a long-term career in one of the fastest-growing areas of engineering.

You will support customers and internal teams with the design, implementation, and optimisation of high-performance cooling systems used in modern data centres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for advanced liquid cooling solutions
  • Assist with system sizing, selection, and performance validation
  • Apply thermodynamic and heat transfer principles to real-world engineering challenges
  • Review customer designs and provide technical recommendations
  • Support installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
  • Deliver technical presentations and customer support sessions
  • Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams on customer projects

Candidate Profile

Essential

  • Degree in Mechanical, Thermal, or Electrical Engineering (or similar)
  • Strong grounding in thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics
  • Desire to develop a career in Applications Engineering or thermal systems
  • Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical data
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively in a remote/home-based environment

Desirable

  • Experience with cooling systems, HVAC, or data centre technologies
  • Familiarity with thermal modelling or simulation tools
  • Previous customer-facing or technical support experience
