Permanent, Full Time (35 hours per week), flexible working pattern considered. Salary £30,418 - £33,102 pro-rata depending on experience. Generous holiday entitlement.

The Finance Assistant is a member of the Trust Central Team. They are responsible for supporting the Finance Manager and Trust Central Team in delivering an effective finance service to schools. The role will include the following:

• Provide professional finance support to Schools within our Trust and help ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This includes but is not limited to bank reconciliations, journal posting, clearing control accounts, transaction processing and financial monitoring.
• Support the production of financial monitoring reports for individual schools including Monthly Management Accounts, Governor Papers and statutory submissions.

• is a qualified/part qualified accountant, or experienced finance professional;
• is an outstanding team player;
