FULL DESCRIPTION
Shipping Clerk
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join their logistics team. Responsibilities include efficient movement of goods through shipping and receiving, accurate order fulfilment, and maintaining organized warehouse operations. The role involves assembling and packing containers, managing inventory, performing janitorial duties, basic computer use, driving company vehicles, and adhering to safety procedures. A clean driver's license is required.
Work Location: In person
Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Duties
- Assemble and pack sampling containers and paperwork and ship to customers
- Understanding of inventory requirements to perform daily task and inform management when items are needed
- Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Handle janitorial duties or building maintenance
- Basic computer skills, specifically using Outlook email and calendar
- Drive company car to handle various company tasks
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Comply with all safety procedures and company policies
- Must have clean driver’s license that is free of traffic violations
- Take direction from and show respect for supervisors and managers
- Work as a team with and show respect for peers and colleagues
- Maintain a neat and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of order fulfilment processes including picking & packing, stocking, and inventory control
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order processing and documentation
- Ability to read and understand written procedures including Quality Manual in English or Spanish
- Professional attitude, good communication and customer relations skills
- Good organizational and general housekeeping skills
