Your Future Starts Here: [Employer hidden] Apprenticeships

While you’re working towards gaining your Apprenticeship qualification, you’ll be doing a real job which matters to our business. You’ll work for a company which will support you as you progress your career, offering you opportunities to work with cutting edge machinery and learn from highly skilled engineers.

You’ll get training with our dedicated in-house trainer and academic support to help you get everything you can from the experience. Then once you qualify you’ll have lots of real business experience under your belt plus the understanding of how your role contributes to the business as a whole.

Why Choose a [Employer hidden] Apprenticeship?

Our apprenticeship program is perfect for those eager to learn while earning a wage and experiencing a real-world working environment. You'll combine college-based training with hands-on experience, working alongside expert engineers to develop the skills and knowledge you need to thrive in the construction industry.

Here’s what makes our program stand out:

  • A mix of classroom learning and on-the-job training
  • The chance to work with cutting-edge JCB machinery
  • The opportunity to visit JCB WHQ and tour the factories
  • First-class technical training from experienced trainers at our dedicated Glasgow centre

By the time you complete your apprenticeship, you’ll be a fully qualified Service Engineer with an SVQ/NVQ in Plant Maintenance or Land-based Engineering—and ready to make your mark in the industry!

What Will You Learn?

As a [Employer hidden] apprentice, you’ll start with the basics and build up to advanced engineering techniques. You’ll learn:

  • How to diagnose and solve mechanical issues
  • The ins and outs of maintaining and repairing construction equipment
  • Key teamwork and customer service skills that set our engineers apart
  • Our hands-on training means you’ll be learning from real experts every step of the way.

Who Are We Looking For?

We want people who:

  • Have a passion for engineering and problem-solving
  • Work well in a team and understand the importance of good customer service
  • Are reliable, hardworking, and committed to meeting deadlines

Whether you’ve tinkered with machines in your free time, taken a related course, or just know this is the career for you, we’d love to hear from you!
