Description: 3t is currently looking to recruit a Survival Instructor on a permanent contract in Aberdeen, UK. The role involves delivering 3t approved courses, providing technical leadership, and ensuring a professional training experience. The ideal candidate will have industry-recognised assessor and instructor qualifications, knowledge of OPITO BOSIET/FOET/HUET products, and ideally experience with GWO products.
Role Purpose:
To deliver 3t' approved suite of courses within the given technical subject area at 3t training centres in a consistent, professional way which reflects 3t’ business integrity and culture.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- To deliver courses as required in line with 3t and accrediting body requirements
- Use a wide range and depth of technical or specialised knowledge, providing technical leadership and expert advice
- Convey information fluently, interpreting and clarifying details and explaining rationale
- To support customers during course delivery as appropriate
- To obtain positive customer feedback following course completion in line with KPIs set within personal development plan
- To participate in standardisation and continuing professional development events as required
- To provide support to trainee and existing Instructor/Assessors as appropriate
- To support department growth through technical input to new courses, training standards, customer meetings and the continual improvement of existing courses
- Demonstrate excellent organisational and time management skills
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment
- Apply 3t and where appropriate Client’s HSE Policies and Procedures.
- Ensure that all 3t quality and operational procedures are adhered to at all times

Person Specification:
Essential Criteria:
- Industry recognised Assessor qualification, SQA / OPITO or equivalent
- Industry recognised instructor / teaching qualification
- Knowledge & understanding of the OPITO BOSIET / FOET / HUET products
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge & experience with GWO products
Working Hours:
The working hours for this role are 7.30am to 4.15pm, Monday to Friday. Each working day includes an unpaid lunch break of 45 minutes.
