As we settle into the new year our pre-construction team have been busy getting 6 new projects site ready. The projects, from the Education, Healthcare and Industrial sectors with contract values ranging from £1.2m to £4.1m with a combined value of £16m will all start in the first quarter of 2020. [Employer hidden] will be delivering the projects as principal contractor through a range of contract models including Design and Build.

One of the Design and Build contracts follows the huge success of the new Scania Truck maintenance facility adjacent to the M62 in Warrington which was handed over by [Employer hidden] in 2018. Haydock Commercial Vehicles have again appointed [Employer hidden] as the Design and Build Contractor for the construction of the new Preston Scania facility at Bamber Bridge. These iconic facilities follow the strong Scania brand guidelines which [Employer hidden] design partners, GSA, are bringing to life on the project to provide a new 7 bay HGV maintenance facility with 3 full length service pits and 1 multi axel roller bay. The facility will also provide 2 storey office accommodation for the customer service and maintenance teams at Preston Scania.

The Preston Scania facility is due to commence on site in February with a planned opening in Autumn 2020, the existing facility will remain operational throughout the construction of the new building.
