We are a small to medium sized company that has built a strong reputation delivering multi-disciplinary projects and programmes for private and public sector clients. We carry out multi-disciplinary design packages and support clients with turnkey domain expertise in their teams.
We are currently for building surveyors to join the surveying team and contribute to achieve year on year growth.

Job Summary
Day-to-day you will be working as part of the Surveying team and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing building inspections and asset surveys in line with RICS standards. Your role will involve conducting detailed assessments, capturing accurate asset data, and producing high-quality survey reports. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with project teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of surveys, compliance with guidelines, and the effective management of identified risks. This will include operational tasks such as quality assurance, reporting, and providing support to survey teams to maintain efficient and consistent project outcomes.
- Conduct inspections of various building types, adhering to RICS standards.
- Perform inspections to identify and document asset conditions, defects, and areas requiring further investigation.
- Accurately capture asset data, including conditions, attributes, and defects, using prescribed mobile survey applications.
- Produce detailed survey reports that meet industry standards, including recommendations for remedial actions.
- Ensure inspections are carried out in compliance with the scope of works and other relevant guidelines.
- Verify data integrity by adhering to established quality assurance practices.
- Work closely with the project team including project managers, quality assurance managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of surveys and reporting on a weekly basis.
- Contribute to periodic dashboards summarising progress, findings, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Immediately report any identified defects posing safety, security, or operational risks through appropriate channels and processes.
- Provide guidance and coordination to survey teams where required.
- Provide survey support and work in a collaborative manner with other surveyors as necessary.
Essential Criteria
- At least 1 year of previous professional surveying experience
- Accreditation with RICS (Associate member of RICS minimum)
- Proven experience in building surveying preferably with a focus on data collection in complex environments like transport or infrastructure.
- Proficient in conducting data validation and condition assessment surveys.
- Competence in using mobile data capture tools and other survey-related technologies.
- Computer literate and familiarity with MS Office
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Good communication skills for liaising with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work, ensuring accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
Desirable Criteria
- Degree in Building Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with working in a regulated environment such as the London Underground or other operational networks.
