Job Description

Provide a high standard of care in an efficient, kind, and respectful manner, preserving the dignity and self-respect of the service users at all times.

• Be aware and maintain infection control measures
• Keep a neat and tidy appearance and always wear the proper uniform while on duty.
• Participate in training sessions and fire drills as needed.
• Mentor new members of staff as instructed.
• Be prepared to perform additional household or other duties as needed.
• Maintain safety standards
• Report any accidents involving either staff or service users.
• Comply with written and verbally agreed-upon employment conditions, such as hours of duty, days of duty, timekeeping, etc.
• Make sure that any concerns about service users are not discussed with others or outside the home.
• Compliance with health and safety regulations
• To support service users with complex care needs: requiring the following tasks: Peg feed, Suction, Tracheostomy, medication via peg etc. (Experience and skills apply)
