What You’ll Make Happen

Your primary role will include crafting visually compelling presentations and creating engaging visuals for client-facing projects, including reports, audits, pitch decks, and credentials decks.

  • Contribute to projects across a wide variety of clients, identifying best practices for effective visual communication in alignment with their brand guidelines
  • Design and format presentations in PowerPoint, Keynote, and Google Slides
  • Transform complex concepts and data into accessible visuals elements, charts, and infographics.
  • Create mock-social assets that accurately reflect platform-specific aesthetics and guidelines
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in presentation software to enhance design capabilities
  • Engage with the wider company on creative, digital, and artwork projects as needed
  • Self-evaluating, proofing and reviewing own work
  • Incorporating internal and client feedback into final product

your expertise

What's important for us:

  • Expert in presentation design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of visual and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience with other presentation platforms (e.g., Keynote, Google Slides, Prezi)
  • Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Ability to create visually stunning presentations from concept to delivery, maintaining consistency in branding and messaging.
  • Excellent eye for typography and layout, ensuring high-quality and polished production
  • Knowledge of what makes communications effective, including great data visualization skills
  • Efficient in managing multiple design projects, with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines while maintaining design quality
  • Skilled at finding creative solutions under tight deadlines, and adaptable to feedback and changing priorities.
  • High work-ethic and self-motivation

What's nice to have:

  • Previous experience working with visual identities for major brands
  • A strong understanding of UI components for major social media platforms, with the ability to accurately replicate them to create credible presentation examples.

Recruitment process

First, you will receive questions to answer via a self-recorded video.

If successful, we will send you a short task to see how you’d apply your skills to the kind of work we do at Storm.

If we move forward, you will be invited to an interview (60 minutes via MS Teams). During the meeting, Robyn, our Social Media Strategy Manager, will get to know you and try to understand if you’d be a good fit for the role, and at the same time answer all your questions.

You may then be asked to attend a final interview, where you will meet Duncan, our Chief Content Officer (15 minutes, MS Teams).
