What You’ll Make Happen

• Manage bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records such as accounts payable, bank reconciliations, fixed asset register and VAT returns.
• Contribute to administering the payroll and pension schemes to ensure timely and accurate processing of staff wages and contributions.
• Reconcile financial accounts including bank and credit card statements to guarantee reporting accuracy.
• Participate in the month-end and annual close process gaining exposure to financial audits and final accounts preparation.
• Maintain and help improve financial controls to ensure compliance with internal processes and accounting standards.
• Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting to the Finance team to help deliver business insights for data-driven decisions.
• Leverage AI to optimize workflows and team efficiency.

Your Expertise

What's important for us:

• It’s essential that you are ACA/ACCA qualified
• With 5+ year's experience
• Have the confidence to work independently and communicate with senior stakeholders
• Demonstrable experience identifying deficiencies and implementing improvements
• Ability to separate signal from noise
• Can bring new ideas to the table, and execute on them importantly

What's nice to have:

• If you’ve worked in a high growth company, a start-up or tech company then you’ll likely fit well

Your Expertise

• Hands-on experience with cloud accounting software (e.g. FreeAgent, Xero or similar)
• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work independently
• Ability to check your own work and spot mistakes quickly
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethic and self-motivation
• A friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
