Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Copywriter to work with our client who is a global entertainment brand in pre-school television. In this role, you will play a crucial part in crafting compelling, relatable and funny copy that resonates and speaks to the parent experience. You will contribute to driving parent and caretaker engagement for this client, but also have the opportunity to work on a variety of other brands, so copywriting experience in other specialities is also a plus! If you feel that your skills could assist our client, please let us know in your cover letter when applying! What You’ll Make Happen

  • Writing engaging and on-brand social media copy for Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and more
  • Reviewing and editing written content across clients for social media and blogs
  • Pitching article ideas
  • Implementing SEO and copywriting best practices
  • Developing strategies to improve the quality of written content
  • Maintaining internal guidelines for social copy and blog posts
  • Developing voice and tone across various clients

Your Expertise

What's important for us:

  • A 2:1 Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 2+ years experience as a copywriter
  • Great knowledge of SEO
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Experience using various social media platforms
  • Excellent understanding of grammar, punctuation and written English in general
  • Strong work-ethic and self-motivation
  • Ability to work well within a team and balance a shared task load
  • A friendly and enthusiastic demeanour
  • A love of TV shows and movies

Flexibility

We’re a remote-first company and support 100% remote working for this role. We have flexible working hours so you can start your day anytime between 9am and 10am. To best serve our US clients, we are looking for people who can work at least one late shift (1:30pm-10pm) per week. So, some days you’ll need to be flexible to work later if there’s a key delivery to a US client, but any time can be taken back. Joining us means becoming an integral part of the whole team no matter where we’re physically working, we have a number of initiatives to create a team environment regardless of geographic location.

We usually ask about your previous experience, future career path and motivation for changing your job, as well as provide you with more details about your projects and working in your team.
