[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is seeking an experienced Consultant Business Immigration Solicitor (minimum 8 years PQE) to join their modern, tech-enabled law firm. The role involves advising a diverse client base on UK business immigration matters, managing a caseload, and collaborating with internal teams on broader transactions. The firm emphasizes a flexible, remote, and collaborative work environment with a focus on modern legal technology and AI tools.

Job Description

You will take the lead on a wide range of business immigration matters, supporting businesses with the strategic and operational aspects of employing international talent and navigating the UK immigration system.

You will work closely with founders, HR teams, in-house counsel and senior business leaders, providing clear, pragmatic advice that supports commercial objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance.

As part of the wider [Employer hidden] legal team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues across Corporate, Commercial and Employment teams where immigration issues arise within broader transactions, restructures, or international expansion projects.

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 8 years’ PQE with a strong focus on UK business immigration
  • Demonstrable experience advising corporate clients on sponsor licences and skilled worker routes
  • Strong knowledge of Home Office policy, sponsor compliance obligations and right to work requirements
  • Ability to manage matters independently and deliver pragmatic, commercially focused advice
  • Excellent client relationship and stakeholder management skills
  • Confidence working with founders, HR leaders and in-house legal teams
