People & Culture Business Partner – International Deployments

Location: Cumbria, United Kingdom

We’re seeking an experienced and people-focused People & Culture Business Partner – International Deployments to join our growing UK team.

Reporting to the UK People & Culture Operations Manager and working closely with an Australia-based Global Mobility team, this role is key to supporting international assignee’s and enabling the success of our UK operations.

You’ll act as a trusted adviser to employees and leaders, manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with UK employment law and company policies. This is a unique opportunity to combine strategic HR partnership with hands-on operational delivery in a global setting.

What you’ll do:

  • Support international assignee’s throughout their UK deployment lifecycle – from arrival to repatriation.
  • Provide local HR advice and guidance, leveraging support from Centres of Excellence overseas.
  • Partner with the Global Mobility team on relocation, immigration and assignment conditions.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, leaders, and service providers.
  • Drive process improvements and ensure governance and compliance with UK legislation.

About you:

  • Qualified and experienced HR professional with strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in global mobility, relocation, or international assignments.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • High integrity, resilience, and a collaborative approach.
  • Understanding of UK employment law and immigration processes (desirable).
  • Must hold or be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
