What we expect a Senior Campaigner to do

  • Manage and deliver small to medium-sized campaigns and projects — getting stuck into the behind-the-scenes admin from start to finish, tracking budgets and deadlines, ensuring exceptional standards of delivery and managing project reports and reviews
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams — from designers to fellow campaigners to a range of creative collaborators — with a thoughtful mix of delegation, clarity, freedom and kindness
  • Get stuck into the day-to-day work of building and delivering integrated campaigns. That could look like wrangling data, writing punchy email journeys, producing moving films, organising parliamentary briefings, driving online engagement, getting print out the door, planning stunts and events
  • Support in crafting and executing ambitious campaign strategies appropriate to the resources available, integrating offline and online actions
  • Contribute to building positive and trusted relationships with partners, suppliers, grassroots leaders and spokespeople — communicating in person, on the phone and over email with clarity, honesty, integrity and adaptability
  • Stay up to date with technological innovations and changes across digital platforms
  • Keep your ear to the ground on political developments — flagging new campaign opportunities and areas to build relationships, pitching for new ways to build power

You will be supported to develop the following skills when in-post:

  • An ability to manage increasingly complex campaigns and projects
  • Line managing junior members of the team
  • Business & network development - spotting opportunities with new or existing partners, bringing in new work, deepening your understanding of the movement and creating trusting relationships and partnerships within it
