About the role
In this role you will have the opportunity to assist in lesson learning with the class teacher, and occasionally lead activities. The role will also include a range of support options in groups, intervention groups and on a 1-1 basis. This role will give the candidate the chance to gain new experiences within a primary education setting.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Have a DBS that is registered on the update service or be able to arrange one.
- Be able to secure references to cover the last two years.
- Have at least 2 weeks of relevant, school based work.
- Be a welcoming influence on the classroom and individual’s learning. You will also need to give feedback to the class teacher on this learning.
- Be able to form meaningful working relationships with both staff and students.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
- At least 2 weeks relevant experience of being a Primary Teaching Assistant on a voluntary or paid basis.
