FULL DESCRIPTION

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for providing quality education to students in mathematics. You will be responsible for designing and implementing lesson plans, assessing student performance, providing feedback, and supporting students in their academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective mathematics lessons in line with the school curriculum.
  • Monitor and track the progress of students through regular assessment and feedback.
  • Develop and maintain a positive learning environment in the classroom.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide extra support to students who are struggling and challenge those who are excelling.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
  • Attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of school policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or a related field.
  • Relevant teaching qualification and certification.
  • Strong knowledge of mathematics curriculum and teaching methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students, and parents.
  • A patient and supportive approach to teaching.
  • Familiarity with educational technology and its integration into the classroom.
