FULL DESCRIPTION

Our client is looking to recruit a 2nd In Maths to start in September, Interviews will be conducted in a timely manner, and the ideal candidate will have the following: - Curriculum Coordination: The 2nd in Maths will be responsible for assisting the Head of Maths in coordinating and delivering the Maths curriculum across the school. This may involve developing schemes of work, creating lesson plans, and ensuring that teaching resources are up to date. - Teaching and Learning: The 2nd in Maths will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons to students and supporting the professional development of other Maths teachers. This may involve observing and providing feedback on other teachers’ lessons and helping to develop and deliver Maths training sessions. - Assessment and Evaluation: The 2nd in Maths will be responsible for ensuring that Maths assessments are designed and implemented effectively, and that results are analysed and used to inform future teaching and learning strategies. This may involve coordinating assessments, analysing data, and providing feedback to teachers and students. - Student Support: The 2nd in Maths will be responsible for providing support to Maths students, particularly in relation to academic progress and wellbeing. This may involve tracking student progress, identifying and addressing any issues, and communicating with parents and other stakeholders. - Staff Management: The 2nd in Maths may be responsible for managing and supporting Maths teachers within the department. This may involve coordinating meetings, mentoring teachers, and providing feedback on their performance.
