This pivotal role will spearhead regulatory strategy and compliance operations for the company’s UK market entry and expansion. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial services compliance, particularly within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain compliance frameworks aligned with UK regulatory requirements, especially FCA rules
  • Lead regulatory readiness for market entry, licensing, and ongoing supervision
  • Build policies and controls covering AML, KYC, data privacy, and consumer duty
  • Establish monitoring, testing, and reporting processes for ongoing compliance
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliant execution of business strategies

Required knowledge and experience

  • 8+ years of compliance, risk, or regulatory experience within financial services
  • Minimum 1 year experience in the insurance industry
  • Deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks, including FCA rules
  • Proven ability to design policies and manage complex compliance programmes
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
