We’re Hiring: Senior Technical Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong planning and technical experience to take the lead on a wide range of exciting projects, from residential and care to mixed-use schemes.

What the role involves:

As Senior Technical Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving projects forward. From assessing land opportunities to steering applications through the planning system, you’ll ensure everything runs smoothly and to the highest standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the planning and technical delivery programme across multiple projects
  • Managing consultants and stakeholders throughout the process
  • Coordinating reports, surveys, and technical packs to support applications
  • Overseeing planning submissions, validation, and appeals where necessary
  • Monitoring timescales, risks, and opportunities to keep projects on track

What we’re looking for:

We’re seeking someone with a proven track record in planning or technical management within the property development sector. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong knowledge of planning policy, local authority procedures, and land assessment
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Confidence in liaising with landowners, consultants, and local authorities
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to identify risks and unlock opportunities
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset
