Responsibilities include carrying out loaded brake tests, collecting and delivering vehicles, loading/unloading, and maintaining truck parking. The role requires experience, customer service skills, and a forklift license.

As our new Driver Assistant, you will join our friendly team at our Manchester dealership which will see you working:
Monday to Friday - Hours can be discussed at interview

As a Class 1 Driver MOT Assistant at [Employer hidden] in Manchester we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:
Experience HGV Class 1 Essential
Display a high level of customer service
Knowledge of local area
Drivers Tacho Card
Brilliant levels of communication written or verbal
Forklift licence
Experience of working in loading and unloading vehicles
Experience working in a workshop environment
Enthusiastic, Team Player, Flexible.
Main duties will be:
We require an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver MOT Assistant who can provide a thorough service to our customers internally and externally to ensure our customers vehicles are back on road within the shortest time possible
- To carry out loaded brake tests to VOSA standards
- To carry out collection and delivery of customers vehicles as and when required.
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Organising/Maintain truck parking adhering to Health and Safety
- To respect the property of the Company and any property for which the Company is responsible, or which is in their care.
