Job Introduction

[Employer hidden] located in Hull is on the lookout for a dedicated QHSE Compliance Manager to join our friendly team providing exceptional levels of service to our customers, You will oversee the Health and Safety for the Northern region which comprises of depots at Hull, Scunthorpe, York and Grimsby,this will see you working;

5 days per week Monday to Friday 8.30am - 17.00pm

Salary - £30000 - £35000

OTE - 10% of annual salary plus company car

As our Regional Health and Safety Compliance Manager in Hull we will be looking for you to be able to demonstrate:

  • NEBOSH General certificate or other formal safety qualification
  • IT Literacy
  • Brilliant levels of communication written or verbal
  • Project management and leadership skills
  • Full Clean driving license
  • Knowledge of current legislation and ISO standards
  • Understanding of compliance, Health, and Safety

Main duties will be:

We require an experienced QHSE Compliance Manager who can provide exceptional Health and Safety management for our Northern region

  1. Promote, advise and guide the dealership teams on all aspects of Motus and manufacturer compliance requirements.
  2. Continually monitor our compliance to an auditable pass standard throughout the course of the year highlighting any breaches to the regional director and departmental manager
  3. Implement any corrective action identified, supported by the regional director
  4. Undertake accident investigations as required and monitor data to highlight causes, identify remedial actions and reduce risks
  5. Undertake ISO9001 & ISO14001 audits at each location annually and recommend corrective actions for local implementation
  6. Facilitate all building maintenance, renovations and building projects, including liaising with contractors, and ensuring works are carried out in a cost effective and safe manner
  7. Negotiate and renew maintenance contracts for serviceable items throughout the region
  8. Ensure our regional waste is handled and disposed of in a safe and cost-effective manner
  9. Monthly reporting of our regional sustainability statistics, as well as liaising with depot energy champions to ensure good practices are adhered to
