Responsibilities include leading the team, achieving business goals, and maintaining customer relationships. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and an understanding of the business.

Job Introduction

[Employer hidden] located in Hull is on the lookout for a dedicated Dealer Principle to join our friendly team to oversee the day to day operation of the dealership. The position will see you working

5 days per weekdays – Monday to Friday 8.30am - 17.00pm

Salary - £70000 - £75000

Main duties will be:

As a Dealer Principle, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Hull DAF Dealership, reporting directly into the Regional Director. This role will be responsible for formulating and executing Motus Commercial’s service and workshop strategy and significantly driving forward the financial performance of the function,

  • To proactively lead the efficient operation of the Service, Sales & Parts Team, delivering inspirational service to all our customers and to ensure that we deliver the financial plan for the business in terms of Gross Profit, Direct Profit and cost controls.
  • To provide motivational leadership with the ability to influence key stakeholders within the function.
  • To liaise with the Regional Director to provide regular business updates.
  • To ensure housekeeping and best practice are adhered to in all areas of the Dealership.
  • To ensure good relationships with our customers, suppliers, franchise partners and all colleagues is always maintained.
  • To strengthen and develop long term customer and franchise partner relationships.
  • Together with the Key Account Manager develop opportunities to grow the Service & Sales business in terms of customer satisfaction and profitability.
  • Responsibility for entire site including personnel, building & site maintenance, compliance, H&S policy, delivering an engaged, compliant profitable business.
