We're delighted to be working with a well-established, award-winning IT Managed Service Provider with a 20+ year track record. Over recent years they've grown strongly both organically and by acquisition.
Working primarily with growing and mid-market businesses looking for enterprise-level solutions, our client has built an impressive and broad customer base. As the the company has grown, so too has its Procurement & Supply Chain team, which provides vital, wide-ranging support to all areas of the business.
This role is a new one to the company's London HQ and works closely with the Head of Procurement on a number of critical operational activities. These include effective procurement, accurate billing and robust end-to-end commercial adminstration across quotes, provisioning, invoicing and logistics.
Another key responsibility of the role is looking after the tools that help manage all the various tasks across the business. Our client uses Autotask for this, if your experience is with an equivalent PSA tool, they're happy to provide training. They'll also be looking to adopt more AI-driven automation in future and this role is very much part of that journey.
Procurement & Supply Chain Administrator - responsibilities
- Procurement support and administration for client projects (hardware, software, comms etc)
- Liaise with vendors to obtain and prepare quotations
- Use Quote Management system to validate costs, licences & materials
- Maintain accurate records for contracts, renewals, subscriptions etc
- Provide support for migration and provisioning activities
- Administer Autotask PSA system including dashboards & reporting
- Manage licence & contract pricing and accuracy
- Coordinate and communicate vendor pricing increases
- Manage purchase order process and ordering of hardware/services
- Act as key link between commercial operations and finance team
- Administer incoming equipment for handover to technical team
Procurement & Supply Chain Administrator - requirements
- Experience in a procurement or commercial admin role in an IT Services environment
- Hands-on experience with a PSA system - ideally Autotask
- Good general knowledge of the IT MSP supply chain: vendors, licensing etc
- Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Keen to learn new things and to take on new responsibilities
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with plenty of variety
- Experience of telecoms provisioning (e.g. Gamma) would be useful
- Knowledge of Microsoft licensing would be of benefit
