Due to team expansion, an opportunity has arisen to join the Sales Department at one of the largest estate agencies in the UK, [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], covering the West Surrey area from Walton-on-Thames to Guildford.

Based primarily at our Weybridge office, but also hot desking at other nearby offices as needed, this exciting and varied role will ideally suit an enthusiastic, professional person who is able to work both autonomously and as part of a friendly, tight knit team and who is seeking a busy and challenging role in estate agency.

The duties of the position will include dealing efficiently and professionally with inbound enquiries via email, telephone and in-person, registering potential purchasers and matching them to suitable properties, managing a database of clients, conducting property viewings, obtaining offers and selling ancillary services to targets.

It will also involve prospecting for new business, assisting with general office administration and helping the Sales Manager and the rest of the team achieve their collective objectives.

The successful candidate will live within and have good local knowledge of the above-mentioned area of coverage and will have at least two years’ experience in a customer service or sales environment, being able to demonstrate both transferable or relevant skills and why they are keen on a career in estate agency. They will also have a full clean driver’s license.

The working hours will be Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm, plus one Saturday in two 9:00am to 1:00pm, with a day off in lieu and whilst the salary package will dependent on the candidate, the basic salary and office-based commission OTE should realistically exceed £30,000 in the first year.
