Role Overview:
As an M&A Manager OR Assistant Director, you will manage and execute all aspects of the M&A lifecycle. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and integrate potential acquisitions. Your expertise will directly impact the company's strategic growth and contribute to its long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the end-to-end M&A process
• Collaborate with senior executives to develop M&A strategies, assess market opportunities, and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis, including preparing business cases, financial models, and risk assessments.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, including investment bankers, legal teams, and consultants, to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
• Oversee the integration process post-acquisition, ensuring alignment with business strategy and realization of expected synergies.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and the Board of Directors, providing updates on transaction progress and performance.
• Stay current on market trends, competitive landscapes, and regulatory changes affecting M&A activity.
Qualifications:
• Several years of experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or strategy consulting.
• Strong financial modeling skills, with the ability to assess and structure complex transactions.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• In-depth knowledge of M&A processes, including due diligence, regulatory requirements, and integration best practices.
