Female Care Assistant - Home Care

A [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] South Liverpool Care Assistant spends a minimum of 1 hour with each of our private clients who live in their own homes in the Allerton, Gateacre, Woolton, Mossley Hill , Huyton, Childwall, Garston, Aigburth and Widnes areas. Duties differ from visit to visit. Many clients just need a little help getting their meals prepared or keeping on top of basic housework, gardening or going to the shops, whilst some clients require varying levels of Personal Care. One task that will be ever present is the ability to make a good cup of tea and have a friendly chat.

Whilst the competitive hourly pay of £12.25 per hour of care delivered with extra on bank holidays PLUS: paid mileage, realistic travel time between clients, additional holiday pay and company pension contributions are all important, what most of our Home Care Assistants say they value is being part of a supportive friendly team, having their ideas and suggestions listened to, learning new skills and genuinely being able to make a difference to the lives of people in their own community.

We have learnt that many of the following words describe people who excel and enjoy working as a Care Assistant: Kind, Reliable, Friendly, Compassionate, Chatty and Honest. You will also need a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle and be at least 18 years old.

You can commit to part time or full time hours that suit your lifestyle, whether that is mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekdays or weekends. Generally, our home visits happen 7 days a week from 8am – 10pm.
