About the role

We are looking for an Internal Communications Officer to join our Internal Communications team on a 12-month fixed term contract. Working as part of our wider Communications & Reputation function, this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping our people connect with our purpose, understand our strategy and feel aligned with what we’re working to achieve as a business.

Our Internal Communications team provides specialist support to create a shared understanding of [Employer hidden] across the organisation, enabling colleagues to work together to deliver our strategic and operational objectives. We’re a collaborative, creative and passionate team, focused on communicating in the right way, at the right time, using the right channels to make a real impact.

In this role, you’ll work with stakeholders at all levels to shape and deliver clear, engaging messages for the business. Bringing your creative flair and strong web-writing expertise, you’ll develop compelling content across a range of formats, including blogs, infographics, videos, articles and podcasts. You’ll coordinate group-wide communications by bringing together input from Internal Communications Business Partners, Change Consultants and subject matter experts, while also advising stakeholders on channel selection, timing and messaging to ensure communications effectively support business objectives. You’ll also plan, draft and deliver operational internal communications aligned to local and corporate plans, ensuring everything is delivered on time, on budget and to the highest quality and regulatory standards.

About you

You’re an experienced communications professional with a strong background in digital content creation and publishing, confident working across a range of channels to engage diverse audiences. You bring excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with particular strength in producing clear, compelling content for online platforms.
