About the role

We’re looking for a HR Consultant who thrives on partnering, problem‑solving and delivering tangible change. You’ll collaborate across HR and the wider business to co‑create people solutions that enable strategy, culture and performance—bringing structure, clarity and momentum to complex work. 

Due to a number of strategic HR initiatives we have an 12-month fixed term opportunity for an experienced HR Professional to join [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], Which? Insurance Brand of the Year 2024, where you’ll work in partnership with the wider HR Division of 200 colleagues, and the business to design and implement people-related initiatives and organisational change projects, ensuring alignment with business and the HR strategy. You’ll join a collaborative, supportive Partnering & Consulting team where we prioritise clarity of accountabilities, shared toolkits and best practice, and clear objectives to keep work aligned and impactful. Working within the Strategic HR Partnering and Consulting Team you will play a pivotal role in delivering our 2026 objectives, through the provision of an expert HR Consultancy service. You will collaborate with the HR Centres of Excellence (CoE) and Business Partnering team to support the ongoing development of the CoE propositions and overall service development and delivery across the HR Division always considering customer experience and support the development of best practice documentation/processes relating to key people related activities, ensuring processes and documentation facilitate meaningful outputs and are applied consistently across the business

About you

You’re a highly effective communicator with exceptional consulting, influencing and stakeholder management skills. As you’ll be involved in sensitive and confidential conversations working with discretion and the ability to build trusted relationships is key. Excellent communication skills are required, both verbal and written.

To be considered for this role it is essential you have:

  • Demonstrable strategic HR Consulting experience, preferably within a Financial Services organisation.
  • Analytical skills and data‑driven judgement – you’ll be comfortable with ambiguity, able to structure problems and make sound recommendations.
  • Experience in consulting and delivering on organisational design and change. With various streams of change activity across the group at one time, you’ll understand the impact of change and how to manage it effectively.
  • Good generalist knowledge of HR such as talent acquisition, reward, performance management, culture, organisational development and effectiveness, talent management and HR compliance.
  • A proactive, analytical, and solutions-driven approach with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable HR initiatives and in translating HR Strategy into action.
  • Strong consulting skills, including needs assessment, problem-solving, project management, and the ability to provide actionable recommendations.
  • A consulting mindset—curious, commercial, and focused on measurable outcomes and continuous improvement.
