Enjoy a permanent Commercial Electrician role working on renewable energy projects, with a company van, paid travel, and excellent earning potential from day one. Join a growing and forward-thinking contractor delivering solar installations across schools, factories, and commercial buildings throughout Hampshire and beyond. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Electrician to get into the renewable sector or build on existing experience, with full support to gain solar qualifications. You’ll be working on a mix of local and stay-away projects, installing and maintaining solar PV systems, all while benefiting from a strong package and long-term career progression. I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as a Commercial Electrician, Installation Electrician, or Electrical Tester, particularly within commercial or industrial environments.
As a Commercial Electrician, you will be:
- Working across Hampshire and surrounding areas, with occasional stay-away work
- Installing solar PV systems on schools, factories, and commercial buildings
- Carrying out electrical installations and associated works at height
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
I’d love to speak to any Commercial Electrician who has:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- 2391 Testing & Inspection (desirable)
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
- A full UK driving licence
- Confidence working at heights
The role is offering the following benefits:

- £50 per night accommodation allowance when staying away
- £20 per day food allowance

This Commercial Electrician role is offering a base salary of £40,000 - £45,000, depending on experience, with additional allowances for stay-away work to increase overall earnings.
Location & travel This role is based in Hampshire, with travel required across surrounding areas and occasional nationwide projects. Stay-away work is part of the role, with accommodation and food allowances provided to support you while working away.
