Join an established contractor delivering domestic electrical maintenance and compliance across defence-owned residential properties along the A1 corridor.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician who prefers domestic work only, with a strong focus on testing and compliance. You’ll be working across occupied homes, carrying out both reactive and planned maintenance, all while operating within a highly regulated and safety-driven environment.

I’d love to see CVs from anyone who has worked as an Electrician, Electrical Tester, or within domestic maintenance and compliance roles.

As an Electrician, you will be:

• Working across government-owned residential properties along the A1 corridor (Cottesmore, Huntingdon through to Bedford)
• Carrying out domestic electrical installation, maintenance, and repair works
• Completing EICRs, testing, and inspections in line with current regulations
• Working across multiple local sites, including both secure and non-secure areas
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with 18th Edition standards

I’d love to speak to anyone who has:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
• Experience within domestic electrical maintenance or compliance
• Ability to pass security clearance
• A full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to travel between nearby sites along the A1 corridor

The role is offering the following benefits:

• £20 per hour (£41,600 per year)

Location & travel

This role is based along the A1 corridor, covering key locations from Cottesmore and Huntingdon through to Bedford, with occasional travel to nearby surrounding areas. Candidates should live within a reasonable commuting distance to effectively cover both main sites.
