FULL DESCRIPTION
Waste Collector
An opportunity has arisen for the above positions, to work at the authorities Stockbridge & Harris St Depots undertaking Waste Collection Duties. You will be willing to undertake both loading duties & liaising with members of the public, you will be required and expected to carryout additional training as required in line with the department’s operational requirements.
Job Introduction
You will
- Be able to undertake lifting, walking long distances, carrying & bending
- Able to work outdoors in all weathers.
- Be capable of working individually or part of a team
- Have an understanding and be able to apply written and verbal instructions and to complete daily work sheets and documentation.
Experience of working in a Waste Management environment is desirable.
