Location: Archdiocesan Finance Office, Westminster Bridge Road, Southwark One vacancy: 21 hours per week, fixed term with possibility of extension.

Job ad: Records Management Assistant

The [Employer hidden] is looking to recruit a Records Management Assistant to work with the Archdiocesan Archivist in reviewing and processing the Finance Office’s paper records in accordance with their retention schedule. The role will also include developing and implementing some records management guidance and procedures to assist the Finance Office in managing their records.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within a records management service and ideally will have a professional qualification in records management or be working towards one. Experience in implementing new policies and practice in an organisation would be an advantage.

The candidate should also have strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent IT skills, and a good understanding of GDPR requirements and of records management principles.

The job will be offered initially on a fixed term contract of 6 months, 21 hours a week.
