Project Archivist – Farnborough, Hampshire
Applications are invited from professionally qualified graduates in Archives and Records Management for the post of project archivist to begin work in January 2025 with the [Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk], a Catholic Congregation of women religious. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to this rich archive. The archivist will be required to appraise and arrange the small collection of documents arising from the English sector of the Congregation and produce a catalogue to ISAD(G) Standard. They will also be required to assess the physical condition of the collection and package and box it ready for its move to a permanent repository.
Duration
Full time, this post will have a contract of three months and work is expected to be completed in that time. However, applications for archivists wishing to work part-time will be considered.

Salary
£30,000 pro rata
Person specification
MA in Archives and Records Management (Newly qualified archivists will be considered). Demonstrate a high degree of self-motivation and initiative working alone in a small private archive. Have good communication and interpersonal skills Have strong experience-based knowledge of IT, particularly Microsoft Excel Fluency in English language is essential. Reading knowledge French language is essential.
