Operative
[Employer hidden — view at passion-project.co.uk] is looking for Operatives to support the delivery of domestic, recycling, communal, and commercial waste services, including the new food waste collection service. The role involves city-wide waste collections, ensuring safe and efficient operations, and maintaining high service standards.

We’re looking for Operatives to help support with the delivery of Liverpool's Domestic, Recycling, Communal and Commercial waste services. You’ll also play a key role in introducing the city’s new food waste collection service, supporting its successful implementation across our city.
- The role of Operative involves working city‑wide as part of the Recycling and Waste Service.
- This role of Operative involves carrying out safe, timely and efficent waste collections using a full range of manual and mechanical methods of operation, working closely with colleagues to ensure high service standards are maintained across the city.
- As part of the role of Operative you will be required to present items for collection to the vehicle using appropriate tools and safe manual handling methods and where appropriate safely operate the vehicle mechanism for loading and emptying and return waste receptacles to place of origin once emptied.
- In the role of operative you will be required to carry out multiple collections each day ensuring collections are completed in line with targets.
- As part of this role you will be required to work in an outdoor environment all year round. This role includes repetative tasks and includes walking for long periods of time.
