SEND Teacher for Communication, Language & Interaction Resourced Provision

We are looking for candidates, either ECTs or experienced teachers to teach in our Communication, Language and Interaction Resourced Provision. All candidates should show a commitment to engaging with professional development and an understanding of the needs of children with communication, language and interaction barriers.

Salary: £32,916 per annum

We are looking for candidates, either ECTs or experienced teachers to teach in our Communication, Language and Interaction Resourced Provision.

All candidates should show a commitment to engaging with professional development and an understanding of the needs of children with communication, language and interaction barriers.

About the Candidate

Candidates should have experience of planning for and working with pupils with SEND, in particular, communication, language and interaction e.g. children with autism. Evidence of delivering phonics is desirable.

Candidates should have experience of engaging with parents, colleagues and other professionals to support the development of all pupils. They should be able to manage a number of support staff  and liaise regularly with the SENDCO.

Candidates should understand the expectations of the SEND Code of practice and be able to use multi agency working to ensure the requirements of a pupil's EHCP are met.

As well as being able to work effectively as part of a team, they need to be creative, show initiative and be able to adapt  teaching to enable all pupils to engage with the curriculum at their developmental level.

Prior experience of working in resourced provisions or special schools would be preferable.
